My 2019 Goals

Every year I set 10 – 15 small goals that I know I can achieve and without realising I actually achieve them. But…. Even after achieving them I feel shitty and I forget that I achieved something until I sit down with my planner and reflect back.

This year I have decided not to set more than 10 goals. The goals that I will be setting are very simple and on going. So my personal word of the year is HEAL , my blogging word of the year is CONSISTENCY and my word of the year for my studio is BELIEVE. My goals are based on my words that I want to focus on this year. So as I start my self healing journey I am going to be consistent with my actions and believe in myself and the magic of the universe.

Goal #1

I want to start self learning again. I am a learner and this year I want to learn a few skills and gain knowledge about the things that will help me become a better human being, mother, woman, blogger, entrepreneur and coach. So here is the list of things I want to learn in 2019.

  1. Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
  2. Nutrition & Health
  3. Life Coaching
  4. Mindfulness
  5. Art Therapy
  6. Yoga
  7. Tarot Card Reading

Goal #2

I want to be consistent with anything I start from now. I am still struggling with health issues and there are a few mental blocks that I need to cross. But right from 15th April 2019 I want to be consistent with anything that I decide to start. As of now I have plans of a few things and they are –

  • Miss Harshala Blog (Personal Journey) – Post once a week and promote on Pinterest
  • A Week In Life Blog (Indian Women’s website) – Work thrice a week and grow the team

Goal #3

I was homeschooling my daughter for sometime now. We used to sit down with some activities and books and do our schooling. But for some reason it felt wrong to me from within. So we have been toying around the idea of unschooling this year. It’s been 3 months and we are learning and it does feel peaceful to have a happy toddler who is not doing the schooling. Somewhere we found the middle ground of being a happy mom and happy child. And that is when I am the play at home mom instead of the homeschooling mom or unschooling mom. So this year I want to be more present and be a play at home mom so that we as a single mom family are at peace when it comes to learning.

Goal #4

Since June 2018 my health and peace of mind has taken a back seat due to the stressful environment at home. I am stressed all the time and was in therapy for a long time. Finally, I have decided to move away from my current environment and raise myself and my daughter in a positive environment.

Goal #5

In May 2018 I left my job due to mom guilt. My daughter was unwell and was down with typhoid and I was not able to be with her due to my work. In fact I was able to be with her only for 4-5 hours at night when she was asleep. After that things started getting bad at home and my health was affected. I already had PCOD since 9 years and now I am suffering from Menometrorrhagia since November 2018.

  • So I want to get my health in control by starting good habits and quitting the bad ones.
  • Also, I want to start my own business because I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur and now more so because I want to be with my child.
